NetZero HiSpeed is an exciting new type of dial-up Internet access that
accelerates your Web surfing experience using your existing phone jack and modem.
NetZero HiSpeed INCLUDES the NetZero Platinum service and requires
NO additional equipment and NO waiting! It is the high-speed surfing solution
with the convenience of dial-up.
Data Compression and Image Optimization - Before the text
and graphics that make up Web pages get sent to you over your phone line,
NetZero HiSpeed compresses them using a proprietary technology.
Less data is sent so your surfing experience is that much faster!
Memory Enhancement - NetZero HiSpeed uses caching technology
to store elements of frequently visited Web sites so they load faster on future
visits. So in addition to an immediate boost, your surfing will get even faster
as you continue to use NetZero HiSpeed.
Continuous Optimization - NetZero HiSpeed continuously optimizes
the communication between your system's modem and our network while you are online.
That means that is always working to shorten the amount of time it takes to connect
you to the sites you visit.
To use NetZero HiSpeed, you must have computer with a Windows-based
operating system (Windows 95 or later) and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.1 or later.
Windows 95 users must first install Windows 95 Service Pack 2, which can be downloaded
from Microsoft's Web site.
To get the best results, we recommend that you have at least a 200MHz
Pentium III processor with 128MB of RAM and 20MB of available disk space.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later is also strongly recommended.
